Ubuntu Dreams - Blood of the Ancestors

I am proud to announce the launch of my latest kickstarter campaign in collaboration with my friend Tom Donley. The campaign is entitled 'Ubuntu Dreams, Blood of the Ancestors'. Click on the link to view it.

Tom is a New York based photographer, and the kickstarter campaign features a photo documentary on his past and present projects. Tom is planning on coming to South Africa to take pictures of my traditional Sangoma community. The purpose of this is to present a photographic exhibition in New York City in the Fall.

The idea is for me to open the exhibition with a short talk highlighting the rich beauty of Sangoma culture. My hope with this exhibition is that the public will develop more awareness about indigenous shamanic cultures like the Xhosa Sangomas from South Africa.

Sacred Songs & Dream Work, Kent

A Weekend of learning about  Sacred Xhosa Songs, 'Ingomas'  and Sangoma Dreaming. What is a truth dream or 'mhlope amapupa' - white dream. How can we learn to open up to the incredibly transformative power of dreams? During  this weekend we will learn some simple dream techniques and drum rhythms.
