The Third Doorway

Connecting with Nature spirits could be considered the third doorway in Ancestral Practice. The first door is connecting with our own spirit, then our blood Ancestors and finally the ‘silent hidden ones’ or nature spirits.

Nature is alive and is watching us. As we make offerings, pray, meditate and center ourselves we start to connect more deeply with the subtle realms of nature.

Many traditional cultures around the world speak about portals in the natural world, thin spaces where we can transition to access the nature spirits or more subtle realms. In South Africa we do this through singing, making offerings and listening to our Dreams.

Each Webinar runs as a ceremony with a guided meditation, some chanting and an invocation in isiXhosa to lift the energy. They last 75 mins.

John will give a 20 min talk to introduce this month’s theme. People can then ask questions.
