The Buddha said, "the purpose of life is to find your purpose". Many people struggle with this. What does it mean to find your destiny, or vocation/ calling in life? What does it look like?

We will discuss this important area of 'calling'. How can we find our calling, and follow it despite the numerous bumps in the road that life often brings us. John will bring in some ancient philosophy such as the Buddhist Eightfold path as a basic guide in navigating the often difficult waters of transformation.

What are the key signs of a calling? John will discuss dreams, premonitions, visions, childhood memories; as a way to connect to our inner yearning.

As a plant searches for the light, our spirit years to shine full of purpose and vigour.

Participants will learn how to chant in the African way to raise our spirits and activate our inner calling. When our spirits feel free they soar like the birds…

The webinar will start with a guided meditation, followed by a short talk & discussion. Viewer input is encouraged.

Each Webinar starts with a guided meditation, some chanting and an invocation in isiXhosa to lift the energy.

John will give a 20 min talk to introduce this month’s theme. People can then ask questions. If there is time we will carry on with our ‘Dream circle’ where people will have an opportunity to share their dreams with the group.
